What are the accommodations?
On Sunday night June 10 we will stay at the Colorado State Fair Growing Minds Dormitories. We will be staying at a different fairgrounds each night as we travel around the state.  Showers will be available at most sites or we will provide an opportunity to swim.   Each camper should bring a sleeping bag, pad & pillow to sleep on the floor.   All meals & fees will be included.  You may want extra money for souvenirs & snacks. We will arrive back in Pueblo, Colorado Saturday evening June 16.  We will stay overnight in the dorms at the Colorado State Fair grounds and have a closing program and breakfast on Sunday morning before you travel home.
What is expected of me on the tour?
All participants will be expected to be the tour guide when we travel in your area.  For those from areas where we do not get to this year, it will be expected that you share some of the history or interesting facts about your county or area.
Cell phone use
The expectation is that you are courteous with the use of your cell phones.  You will need them to take pictures at the various stops along the way.  However, when someone is speaking to the group it is expected that you will not be on your cell phones.
A typical day
We will get up early and have breakfast, get on the bus and travel to our first stop or stops.  Lunch will happen on the road as a quick picnic most days.  The evening will be a time of fellowship & entertainment depending on the location.  Most evenings, dinner will be provided by a local 4-H club.
What is expected when I return home?
Each participant should give presentations to local groups about your trip describing what you learned on our travels around the state.
